More about the Big Picture Approach Here New Anatomy World 3D SimulationAnatomy World has successfully moved to ReactionGrid. To visit Anatomy World just click on the "Visit Anatomy World" menu button.Visit Anatomy World Anatomy World is a 3D virtual world to help students learn Anatomy and Physiology. It is very similar to the 3D virtual world called Second Life but is not connected to Second Life. Anatomy World runs on open source software called OpenSim and is hosted on the Segarra Grid. Anatomy World is much more than a 2-dimensional website. It is an actual world you can move around and examine in detail. You can also communicate with other people who are in-world at that time. In order to enter Anatomy World you will need to develop and register an avatar which is a 3-dimensional representation of yourself. You experience the world through your avatar. This is a relatively easy process (I tested it on my 10-year old daughter and she loves it). Anatomy World is still under construction but there are some exhibits that are now open.
